First off  - WOW, what a ride!!  Africacom was incredible (and we still recovering!), now that its a wrap, I just want to take a moment to thank all of our Partners, Clients and Soon-to-be-Customers for making our time in the mother city spectacular, from the teams that came all the way from the UK, Europe, East Africa and some from Somerset Road Green point  - you deserve a round of applause ... or at least a slow clap.

I'm not saying we still buzzing from the energy of Africa Tech Festival but if you catch us staring into space with a goofy smile you know why. Between meetings on Yachts with bottomless snacks, heartfelt speeches praising our connectivity solutions, and dinners with Partners, consuming the best that Africa can offer. There were so many unforgettable moments and you, our partners and customers were at the centre of it all.

It is inspiring to see our partners and customers trusting and believing in us to help us achieve the goal of becoming the leader of IoT connectivity in Africa! Looking ahead, the revenue in the IoT market is expected to maintain a steady growth rate, our data shows that Africa had 26.1 million cellular IoT connections in 2023 and forecasts this to grow to 35.6 million by 2029 - so what does that mean financially ? Its estimated to reach over US$30bn in the next few years.

As the IoT market continues to expand and evolve, Africa holds immense potential for growth and innovation, with its unique challenges and opportunities, the continent is poised to play a vital role in shaping the future of the IoT market and OV want to be the driving force behind that African growth.

We are already cooking up plans to ensure that our partners will have the edge when it comes to connecting Africa and trust me its going to be even bigger, better and wilder, so until then lets stay connected!  Got any ideas, feedback or in the mood to chat, brain storm or swop stories, I'm only a click away.

Thanks again for being part of the magic, looking forward to seeing you at the next one

Signing off,

Brad
