OV, a leading global IoT Mobile Network Operator, and Console Connect, a global Network-as-a-Service platform, today announced a new collaboration that will significantly enhance network performance and extend global reach for OV’s IoT services.
The collaboration enables OV to leverage Console Connects automated, high-performance network to expand its IoT network reach worldwide.
Through new interconnections in London and Manchester, OV’s partners now gain seamless access to Console Connect’s cloud ecosystem, allowing OV customers to privately and securely connect IoT devices to major cloud providers, such as AWS, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud, OVHcloud, Vultr, and more.
Console Connect’s cloud ecosystem reaches over 200 cloud locations worldwide, enabling OV customers to easily build and scale their IoT and cloud networks globally.
All connections to the cloud leverage Console Connect’s private automated backbone, helping to improve network performance and reliability, while keeping sensitive data protected from the risks of the public internet.
At the same time, Console Connect users will benefit from the ability to interconnect privately with the OV network, which provides extensive 2G/3G, 4G/5G, and NB-IoT/LTE-M coverage across over 160 countries, supported by more than 600 direct network operator agreements.
OV has a custom-built mobile core network that offers solutions to IoT OEMs and MVNOs, processing billions of data session events monthly and supporting over seven million IoT connections worldwide.
Recently, OV launched its next-generation IoT Connectivity Management Platform (CMP), OVOne, which offers a user-friendly interface and API to manage IoT deployments effortlessly. OV plans to integrate Console Connect’s connectivity into OVOne, streamlining IoT solution integration and onboarding in just minutes.
